CELEBRATES READING WITH
“READING OPENS DOORS”
Contest Dates: March 3, 2026, through March 27, 2026
The Edison Township Education Association would like to celebrate reading by sponsoring a poster contest for grades PreK-12. For this year’s contest, we are asking Edison Public School students to show that Reading Opens Doors.
Rules for the contest:
Submission must be in the form of original artwork.
Please use the pattern on the other side of this paper. (No exceptions!)
The quote, READING OPENS DOORS must be on the poster
Your original artwork needs to incorporate the door and
the slogan “Reading Opens Doors” must be written and used in the artwork.
Only original artwork is permitted
(Clipart, photocopies, or tracings incorporated in the poster will not be accepted)
Please complete the bottom of the entry: child’s name, school, teacher, and grade
All Edison Township students are eligible to enter
District-wide, two winners will be chosen per grade level, PreK-8, and
High School will have three winners.
All winners will be presented with an award and a $20 gift card to Barnes & Noble.
