A Farewell Message- Flowers in the corner, teal background

Dear Martin Luther King Families,

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Martin Luther King Elementary School since 2019. Throughout my years at MLK, I have been fortunate to work alongside an incredible community of students, families, and staff who share a commitment to helping every child grow, learn, and succeed.

As I begin my next chapter as Principal of John Adams Middle School, I do so with tremendous gratitude for the relationships and memories we have built together. The smiles, laughter, accomplishments, and everyday moments shared with your children have made my time at MLK truly meaningful. Thank you for your trust, partnership, and support throughout the years.

While I will certainly miss being part of the MLK community each day, I am especially excited about what this transition means for our students and families. When your children graduate from fifth grade and begin their middle school journey, I look forward to welcoming them to John Adams Middle School. Knowing that I will have the opportunity to continue supporting our students as they grow and take on new challenges makes this next chapter even more special.

My commitment to putting students first will remain at the heart of everything I do. Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I look forward to carrying these values with me to JAMS and continuing to build strong partnerships with the families who make our school communities so special.

Although my role is changing, my connection to MLK will always remain. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your children's stories and for making my years at MLK so meaningful. I will continue cheering them on and look forward to the day I can welcome them with a familiar smile and say, โ€œWelcome to JAMS!โ€

With heartfelt gratitude,

Regina Paparsenos
